What Jeremy said, except that, with the motor jacked up a bit, you can place some scrap carpeting or foam between the engine assembly and the frame member that would catch the motor if you just removed the mounting hardware for the engine and let it drop. Btw, don't just let a motor fall - this is I think it could damage the threads for fasteners that hold the yoke to the engine block (I bought a car with these threads already messed up, and had to Helicoil some of them. Ease it down - I don't like to make the jack carry the motor with the motor running, and it could be in your way.
That's simply a huge amount of oil, to lose that quickly. This has IMO got to be something major, I'm afraid. Even a small amount of oil, power steering fluid or coolant, can make an incredible mess when it hits the belt and pulleys. Hard to imagine the scale of the mess, with a loss as big as yours.
