I developed blocked drains on the right side of my 2000 9-5 SE with usual leaks after heavy downpours. All the discussions I found on YouTube and in other messages always talked about the procedure to clear the FRONT drains, but did not cover the rear drains aside from pulling the headliner. One video showed the owner cutting the end of a drain, but he failed to tell anyone exactly where it was located. Running vinyl coated steel rope down the front cleared that one, but it's not easy to feed it into the rear as has been reported by many owners.
After a suggestion from another owner, I found the exit point (rubber one-way valve) and just touching it cleared the blockage. The drain exits BEHIND the rear wheel liner from a rubber tube in the trunk area.
The photo is looking UP at the body behind the rear wheel and will give others a view of what they need to check - the wheel liner is at the top and back of car at bottom.
