Hi,
Information in WIS is priceless for troubleshooting/repairing an issue or a combination thereof.
As per WIS,
Since the sensor is of an inductance type, with a multimeter you can verify resistance of the RH speed sensor it should read 1600 Ohms +/- 60 Ohms at 20 deg. C. You could also verify it's operation if voltage is induced in the sensor itself ( preferably using analog meter), having someone rotate R/H wheel and read voltage output at the connector. As a sine wave is obtained analog meter should read +/- in mVAC . As Bernie has mentioned, you can peak into the hub and inspect reluctor ring sitting on CV shaft for integrity. As well as speed sensor's proximity to the reluctor ring should be 0.3 - 1.3 mm
You can also check for wire/conductor integrity by measuring continuity from affected sensor connection plug to ESP/Control module (671) and have someone move wire along the way and observing OL or open condition.
I would have checked the above first before ordering speed sensor or any other component(s)
Keep us posted,
Cheers, Ro
