I forgot to mention that there are 19 ACC-specific error codes that can be read with a Tech 2 in addition to the diagnostic codes you can read on the display. These codes can identify a problem with a temperature or solar sensor that would not show up in the self test on the display panel. I have had to replace a solar sensor on my 2000 due to some of the functions being missing. My point is that there are all sorts of things that can contribute to problems in the ACC system. Without a Tech 2 you are guessing based on the symptoms.
