My TB went (2003 V6) at 175,000 and it too was after being removed for other work. Shop figured that as it aged, and heat and age had gotten to the electronics, the jostling etc pushed a connection over the edge. A new Hella (OEM) TB has been steady now for another 132,000 miles.
What’s the provenance of the donor TB? With no disrespect intended, with the amount of work you are doing, is it worth trying a new unit? Usually the issues that cause the limp home in a TB are local to the TB.
Good luck
