Decided to go to basics and go through every connector and ground in the engine bay and open, clean and reconnect, including the auto-trans ones that probably haven't been touched since it left the factory. I found I switched the trot body connector with one of the 2 tucked under the charge air pipe! Lesson learned: Always count the connector pins and be sure they match! All is good now. This recent saga started in late Feb when I went to change the Turbo and busted a manifold stud which led to a valve job and oil pump reseal then tear down a second time when oil and coolant wheeping was happening from unseen places. turned out the oil cooler lines and cooler itself was leaking. JEESH.Never having gone further on heads beyond valve cover gaskets the learning curve was mountainous! Now new valve stem seals, seats ground, collapsed lifter replaced(back to sewing machine hum) and that *****ing crankshaft bolt torque is back to planet earth! haha. Maybe the next 200K on the clock will be as enjoyable as the 1st! With a new timing belt, coolant pump and stat hope to have some care free fun for at least 80K! Anyone have a xenon headlight level sensor for sale? my connector arm broke and it's integrated into the sensor. The ProParts replacement arm won't go on. BTW, I'm happy to send that to someone who can use it. CHEERS and Happy Motoring!
