I fixed this problem a few weeks ago. I put the car on jack stands again and left the wheels on. Noise was still there while in motion. Took wheels off, noise was still there. Took caliper off, noise went away! Turned out it was the anti-squeak shim thing on my brake pads. I can’t believe I didn’t think of that sooner. I’ve been driving with this ridiculous squeal for over three years at least! Just goes to show that sometimes the simple things, the “oh it could never be that” things are worth checking, especially if it’s easy to check.
