Thanks, we'll take a look at those values. Looking more closely at the WIS it does list what solenoids need to be energized and also shows testing them for proper operation using the Tech2 "Activate" menu and a stethoscope. Something I'm not seeing in the "Fault Diagnosis" section though is a list of possible causes for loss of drive, though they are listed for other problems. Might be worth doing the hydraulic pressure test though that's a physical test using a mechanical gauge. If pressure is too low then it's game over unless maybe a fault in the SLT solenoid as listed in the WIS.
My experience over the years though is when this happens with an automatic transmission it is usually done for. However I wanted to see what options might be available before reaching that conclusion. (Had a similar problem about 7 years ago with my '97 9000's ZF autobox and I installed a $175 junkyard trans - which amazingly still works. Of course that's a completely different transmission with no electronics.)
