I use Lucas UCL/Fuel Treatment which imparts some of the lubricity lost in today's highly refined, i.e. dry as a bone fuels. Never had a fuel pump failure in 17 years of driving SAAB's. That said, I appreciate a failure can occur at any moment and risk increases with age (like the proverbial old man falling down a stair well).
