.. this is a common problem I think with Saabs... I usually experience it for a week or two as the seasons change in Sept. and then in the spring.. here in the Northeast (Mass/CT)...
.. from what I've read in the past.. it's likely due to the way the ECU reacts/adjusts to the change in fuel blends (winter vs Summer blends) ..
I've replaced the fuel pump check valve and CPS in the past.. with mixed results.. But the problem always seems to correct itself over the course of a week or two.. which leads me to believe its the change in blends gas stations introduce as the seasons change...
In my case.. it always cranks freely .. and starts, then immediately stalls.. and then starts right up on the 2nd attempt.. and is good the rest of the day.. .
I've learned to live with it..
