given the fact that both the antennae and power signals are having intermittent issues, that would lead me to focus on ensuring that the head unit is seated properly into the mounting cage. Make sure the antennae and power harness components are connected solidly to the back of the cage. and make sure the head unit is fully engaged/seated into the cage.

It would seem too coincidental for both the antennae and power wiring to have issues elsewhere. It would best explain your symptoms, if the head unit is not seated properly into the cage.. (assuming the head unit is not defective, of course)
