I've posted about this before. I checked the sensors and they read about 100 kPa like they're supposed to with the car "on" but not running. I fixed a leak at the front sensor (downpipe hose too loose). It's the one on the manifold next to the throttle body that now reads around 40 kPa and should read about 100. My first target is the hose running from the throttle body through a check valve to the oil trap.

Does anyone know if the connector on the trap for that hose should be flush with the trap body? Mine stands off about 1/8 inch. I ordered the fancy flexible silicone line from eSAAB Parts to replace it. I've replaced those lines on the '04 we had. Trick is to use a small needle-nose vise grip to squeeze the connector, and then a small pry tool to pull the connector off.

I really don't want to replace the trap unless forced to. The car is an '08 and it looks about as hard to do as an alternator.

Any other suggestions on common vacuum leaks would be appreciated.
