pme thanks for reply. yes later WIS # not right, found 24 OZ was spec, that is just 2 - 12 oz cans.
1.8 8 pounds TO my mind on math and unit and decimals O( ) is 16 oz plus 13 ox ( .8 of 10 (( tenth)) = 31 oz?
Rock Auto did warranty first compressor, as I did put in exp valve and rec drier the first time.
new comp NO OIL drained from low side ( bone dry ) and 3.6 oz oil from high side ( mfgr said filled w 4.1 pz ) figured .5 oz was sill inside high side . yes I did turn compressor by hand to open to drain all cylinders. I then just added .5 os for new dry Exp and REc Dryer...
then recharging low side stayed high for hour! in low side gage tap quick connect, bit of oring was blocking the low side!!!! staying at 100 lbs from new r134A entry in warn water.
got ne coupler and low and high reading great. High coupler was stuck opn for unknown reason and that verified at w just 1 - 12 oz in system...Plenty oil was there at high side coupler. finally it closed and I put on other new gage HS coupler.
24 0z in system only and blows cold 240/28-30, compresor quiet ( first one was gem polisher sounding )
thanks for tackling a response for me. very much appreciate. Don
