Nobody asked what rims he has !!!
The tyre sizes are OFFICIALLY endorsed by Saab and some are NOT.
I know if you have the incorrect tyre on the car the warrantee is VOID.
Saab ONLY certify certain sizes and ratings and manufacturers for its cars. I have currently spent about 40 hours online checking out tyres for the ALU-28 i have on my Saab. And also the UTQC ratings indicate the "performance" of the tyre based against a normal ref tyre. So somone telling you there tyre is better stopping has little meaning if the rating for traction is lower as it cannot possibly be better. Also Z is NOT better than W all the time. WR is rated higher than Z and ZR is rated highest. At least some sites tell you this others do not. This is a very complicated subject and i would advise people to contact Saab head office and talk to customer care. Get and official record of the advice given and DO NOT trust a tyre dealer. The most important thing on a car is its tyres...its the only thing keeping you on the road. (jokes not required)
