9-5 AERO brake disc wear

My car is nearing 30000 miles and today
I checked my brake pads and discs while they
were rotating etc. my tires.
The discs show abnormal high wear for 30000 miles
which seems to be due to the factory use of too
hard brake pads. As it looks now on my car the
discs will be fine for another 15000 miles
but then they'll be finished. My brake pads
are at around 50% at will outlast the discs
from what I see.
There seems to be an obvious problem here
and I advise all those that lease AEROs to
request that SAAB replace the pads on their
cars with softer ones as to reduce disc wear
to normal levels. Otherwise you will have to
pay for new discs at the end of the lease terms.
Regards,
Coolknight
P.S. The only good news is that those discs are
not the most expensive out there.
