I had the dealer do it at the 30 day inspection. He owed me several additional things from the purchase so he did it gratis. If you have done brake pads before, it is no problem. If you have never done it, I would recommend you use a brake mechanic. Any indie would be fine, it's a 30 minute job.
I called some independents here in Chicago to see what the labor cost was and found prices ranging from $55 to $75.

Note: if you have an 02 9-5, use the 01 part number when ordering. If you use the drop down menu on the tirerack site there is no part listed for an 02. However they are exactly the same part as the 01 model. No changes.
