As much as I am aware of the manufacturer ie. SAAB
will not cover modified parts under his warranty.
VW has an agressive CHIP tunning policy where they
grant warranties on ABT chiped cars and others.
1st VW does not offer a warranty on modified cars
in all markets and mainly in those with shorter
warranty periods
2nd VW accepts the fact that engine life is considerably
reduced by chip tunning
3rd VW chip tunners only raise HP and torque of the engines
in low altitudes, often these perform worse* then stock at
higher altitudes due to the fact that they're using the
turbo reserve boost which would be used to compensate for
altitude up to 5000 feet (* lose power quicker then stock
but maintain HP as stock at high altitudes)
So yes there are 3 tunners that can tune SAAB and that are good
at it, ABBOTT, NORDIC and HIRSCH but to my knowledge only
HIRSCH does it in a way that maintains all the T7 capabilities
in high altitudes. In fact HIRSCH does a lot more then just a
chip upgrade = expensive.
Honestly, if you wana get a fast SAAB buy an AERO or VIGGEN
For the Viggen you cab get the ABBOTT rescue pack to get great
handling. The AERO does quite well stock.

Coolknight
