my car sits in the carport most days of the week -
i walk about a mile to work.
but on the weekends, i just let her rip.
so it's mostly highway miles except for little trips to the store.
first long drive was to Lake Tahoe from L.A. (my break-in drive).
this weekend, L.A. to San Luis Obispo.
and next weekend, off to San Francisco.
and yes, if i can't wait in between those long trips, i just drive around
with no real purpose but to discover "hidden" scenic roads
and to just drive.
