Was on the Merritt Parkway in Connecticut on Saturday, doing about 80mph throught the twists and turns. VERY windy day, and an ice storm the day before. Came around a curve, and there, in the middle of the road, was a pine tree that had blown over, and three cars at a dead stop in front of it. Just mashed the brakes and the 9-5 came to a dignified, unfazed stop within what seemed to be 20 feet. It was amazing how it just shut down and stopped. Saved its skin and my own too.
