So basically, my car "crashed" and did a memory dump . . . ah, the good old Saab Blue Screen of Death, and in this case, rebooting 4 times did the trick (i'm an IT guy--sorry).
Is there a time period that these fault codes are stored? And can i point the technician to a particular day/time that the problem happened? I gues what i'm asking is: is there an "event log" of say, every time you start the car?
I can't make it up there for a few days, so i want to make sure that the codes will still be there when i bring it in.
