I have dedicated summer and winter tires on both my Aeros. For the '02, I decided on the Nokian WR, 205x55x16, because of the reviews and the local tire dealer's recommendations. I run them on Ronal alloys that are similar looking to the stock Aero wheels. I am very pleased with this tire's performance and I think you will be too. Good traction in both snow and ice. Got around better than most on icy days. It is relatively quiet, save on wet roads were it becomes a bit whining. It handles fairly well for "spirited" driving, but hey, how much can you do in the winter time. It handles 115 mph without difficult and could be taken up a bit higher if needed. I'm not illegal, live in Germany.

I changed from All Season to dedicated as result of this BB. I'm glad I did. I feel safer. You may want to consider doing the same. Good luck with your decision.
