I don't know how your lease is structured, but I'd be willing to bet extending it is a bad deal. Chances are the residual doesn't change, so you're basically giving the bank free money. Your car might depreciate $500 more in those 6 months, but you'll be paying (just a wild guess) $400x6 = $2400 for the privilege of driving your car. Most of the depreciation on your lease happens in the first few months, so you're basically amortizing that throughout the rest of the lease. Maintaining the same payments at the end is like throwing money away. I doubt you'll save $2000 by waiting 6 months for a 95 - the incentives are pretty good already for a Linear - $4000 for a wagon, $5000 for a sedan.
