If you look at the big picture, though, you're paying money now to one bank for an old car. You could be paying the same to another bank for a new car, and your new car's lease will be up sooner or could be stretched longer for lower payments.
I suppose it's a matter of perspective - if you look at a car as a monthly expense rather than an "investment" (and I suspect you do since you're leasing), you're right that it doesn't really make a difference. Just some food for thought.
At least on a linear though, I doubt the deals will get much better toward the end of the year.
