Not being wise to the Ways-of-the-Saab, please forgive me if I've asked a dumb question. Judging by the responses to my post, it seems like no self-respecting Aero enthusiast would be caught dead driving an auto (kinda like buying an auto WRX??). The thing is, I don't have alot of time to shop around, to wait for a particular car to appear on the market locally, or to spend a day driving to the one dealer within a hundred mile radius that has a 5 spd. Should I buy a 5 spd <fill_in_other_brand_here> just so I can say I'm a "True Manual Guy?" I would think that being a Saab owner would be more important that being a 5 spd owner. If I had the time, I would wait until I could get the exact car I want (tranny, color, options, mileage, condition, etc.), but as the Rolling Stones say, I might have to settle with getting what I need.
