Here are a few quick pointers...
Audi more expensive, but will have better resales value. 2.7 Twin turbo is quick, but I hear complaints of low down torque, especially with the automatic. AWD and height adjustable suspension give the car nice all-weather flexibility...but it makes more sense if you live on a dirt road or need ground clearance. Mileage is not that great. Interior build quality is top notch. Front and rear rubber bumpers are nice for preventing the inevitable "bumper tag" damage that I see here in the Boston area.
Saab is lighter, will likely feel more powerful from a stop thanks to a better torque curve per pound ratio. Better mileage (I get 30mpg on the highway in mine), and to be honest, I drove mine all winter with four snow tires on it, and it was unstoppable. My car made it up the steep driveway to the VT ski house I used to visit several times last year. Excellent stereo, though the power is biased towards the front of the car. Build quality so far is excellent...better than my Viggen was, and better than my old '95 Volvo 850 Turbo wagon.
I feel the Aero wagon, after discounts, is probably the most car for the money....but then again, I might be a bit biased!!
:)
Good luck!
