I used to drive my '88 9000T _really hard_, and it was very difficult to get the tail to break loose, even in snow/rain. You had to REALLY provoke it for that to happen. And even when it happened, it broke free very slowly and gradually. A super stable car.
Now these new 9-5s, I'd think that with dynamic brake force distribution, ABS, ESP, independent rear suspension, etc., that they'd be even _more_ stable, and I thought it would be practically impossible to make the tail step out. Hmm, maybe not?
Never had it happen to me but I drive more gently now.
