Feeling the pain of the gas mileage (more)

I guess it is to be expected to be spending more on gas going from a Tracer to a Saab 9-5...but wow! Let's see, I have had the car for almost 2 weeks now, and just filled my tank up for the second time this morning (ugh-$25). I know I can use regular, but I did that the last time and I defininately noticed a difference, so this time I went for the premium. I'm hoping that the newness will wear off soon - I have to remind myself that I am leasing this car, but it's just too damn fun to drive:)
It seems like I am getting on average 19 to 21 mpg (automatic), so if someone could tell me if it's normal... I drive in "sport"mode alot - does this use up more gas? Either way, I'll probably not change my driving habits :)
