But if you are zipping around in Sport Mode, that will do it! I've gotten 30-38 mpg on the highway with my 4 Saabs 99-9000. Follow some of the suggestions here, esp the tire pressure, and see what happens as the car wears in.
By the way, 87 octane actually has more energy, and will give you better mpg than the higher octane fuels. Something to keep in mind for long trips when you are not gunning and running as much.
