The DI cassette for the V6 is manufactured by the same company that makes the 4 cyl one.
One difference is that the V6 DI is mounted just a little bit above the valve cover allowing some air to circulate around the electronic parts.
I don't know but that might be why we don't see any postings about failures of those.
The red and black DI is tucked down deep into the valve cover where no air can reach it.
