I do not agree at all with Mike Lynch or Joe E. They are taking the corporate line because.....who knows why. (well, we know why on one)

I know many Saab owners who have needed the SID replaced and have not heard of saabnet.com so to say that the issue is compouned from this board is not accurate.

Mikes logic does not fly. His logic being that Saabs loyalty is to 1st owner. If they want to gain loyalty..Do you think Saab95er will buy a new Saab now? I doubt it. What if SaabUSA gave Saab95er a new SID becasue, lets face it everyone knows its horrible. (go to any delaer and ask to see the huge pile of DEAD SIDs). I bet he would then look at Saab for his new car purchase.

Bottom line is this is a total lack of customer service.

Next time lie and say you are original owner and by the time they figure out you will have new SID.
