The safest thing to do would be to grab the audio signal from the low level source.
However I would think you would have no problem using the high level leads. (after the amplification) My Nokia CARK-91H is hooked up after the amplification and I have had no issues.
I would advise you test it first. Have someone call the cellphone and answer it withe the radio volume turned way down. Slowly increase the radio volume and listen for clipping of the audio signal. If none is heard at reasonable volumes you intend to use, you should be fine. If at any point you hear heavy clipping or distortion, lower the volume immediately and remove the phone. (I doubt you will have any problem though)
Again I am not an EE, but dabble a bit with the stuff. If someone knows more than me and I made an error please post back.
