And Dan Chasins is long gone from Saab as well. Saab has much bigger fish to fry than to start messing around with Hirsch's boy racer parts at this point on the 9-5. I drove one briefly last year with the 305 HP engine , and it cannot put the power to the ground with FWD only. If Saab wre to try to promote this car in the USA, it would get solidly trounced by the offerings from M-B , BMW , and Audi, and perhaps others. It might seem to be the ultimate 9-5, but certainly not a super sedan like the M-3 , S versions of the audi ,and the AMG cars. Not even close in fact.I know that sounds pretty negative ,but I have also driven most of those competitors, and if you were to do so , chances are you might agree.
