More confused than ever about oil grade requirements

I just received a 4L bottle of fully synthetic genuine Saab 5W-30 motor oil from State of Nine to be used in my '01 LPT wagon. Much to my surprise, the label indicates API SJ, ACEA A1/B1. I thought for sure it would meet ACEA A3/B3 requirements. As this oil is provided by Saab and also meets the '01 owner's manual requirements of either API SJ *or* ACEA A3/B3 oil, I'm not concerned. Just confused.
Should I strive to find an oil that meets both sets of grade requirements or be happy with the Saab stuff?
