Here's a summary of what's ahead. You really should have a bentley manual.
The special tool goes "on top" of the pressure plate fingers and is pushed under the tabs that are around the inner circumference of the pressure plate housing. You have a helper depress the clutch pedal to drive the throwout bearing against the ends of the fingers to depress the fingers. Then work the piece of wire under the tabs to hold the fingers in and hence, the keep the clutch disengaged. Then remove cover from front of trans housing. unscrew little oil slinge propeller from the clutch shaft. Screw 8mm bolt into the end of shaft where oil slinger was. Use head of bolt as pry point to pop back the clutch shaft. Remove allen bolts from clutch slave cylinder. Unbolt pressure plate from flywheel. Pry pressure plate off locating pins and wiggle the whole works out.
Pull your special tool out of the old pressure plate and install it on the new pressure plate. you can use a car jack or a press to force the fingers in.
Then install your new seals and put the new clutch and pressure plate and slave back in the car.
Be careful not to pump the clutch before you have pulled the special tool out, because you can jam the slave cylinder. Then you get to start over!
