I have reason to believe that my '91 900 knows that I am attempting to get rid of it....
I just got done replacing the right front driveaxle and upper ball joint today. Much to my enjoyment, the creaking, groaning, and clunking stopped! Today should be a good day, right?
Wrong....after stopping in to get a full tank of gas, I turn the key and, lo and behold......it just cranks....and cranks.....and cranks. The engine will not turn over, and I had to get it towed.

Today in Southern PA it was over 100 degrees F AND one of my engine fans doesn't run.....however, when i stopped at the gas station, the temp meter was only at about halfway. Moreover, the engine did not sputter, stall, or even attempt to hesitate at all prior to simply not starting again.
Is it vapor lock? Could the ignition have magically gone bad while i was buying coffee in the gas station? Help me fix this thing so i can drive it to a better place!
