You mentioned "all cooling-related parts". Does that include all hoses (an internal failure could create a blockage), the radiator, the thermostat, the fan switch, the fan, the water pump, the belts driving the water pump, and the crank pulley (harmonic balancer)- which drives the belts?
If the problem isn't a misaligned timing chain, which was mentioned in a different post, then I would suspect a blockage in the coolant passages, air pocket(s) in the coolant passages, an inefficient water pump, or a combination of those factors. If the cooling system is marginally effective at highway cruising speed, then there isn't enough coolant flow or the radiator is bad. Overheating at idle can be caused by a bad radiator, lack of coolant flow, bad fan switch, stuck thermostat, or air pockets.
