'86 SPG should have a dark grey interior. I think '85 SPGs had tan, and the 4 or 5 '84 prototypes may have had maroon?
If it only needs (primarily) interior, I should think it would be a great project, without terrible expenditure.
A suggestion: I see your odometer is in KM, so you're not in the US? If I had your need for a grey leather interior for a SPG restoration, I would give consideration to the Light Grey leather, instead of the Dark Grey. I suspect that in most areas the dark is getting rather scarce, yet I could easily get light for my SPGs here in Maine (at reasonable prices). I'm not sure about the color of the grey carpet (are they diffferent?), but overall, I think it would look good with light grey (less $$$, easier to locate) and most people wouldn't have a fit about the color of the grey leather! I don't know what is easiest to locate in your area (salvage yards).
Enjoy yourself. The SPGs sure put a smile on my face!
