SAABGguy: I have the same problem with my '91. I looked around and crawled in the back seat durring rain. Mine looks like it is comming in right at the corner of the rear window. I think it is following down to the seam/fold rather then leaking through a hole.
I am still trying to decide on the best fix (right now I just have a tarp to put over the back half of roof on rainy days, works fine but....). It seems to collect first in the well behind the back seat then if enough gets in it migrates down to create a puddle under passenger back seat. Also of concern is water building up under the back seat (which happens with mine if I let it get bad), this could end up getting the pump and other under back seat electrical equipment wet (very bad!).
So at the very laest get a 6'x4' tarp and a couple bungy cords to cover the back end. And, if you figure out a good long term fix let me know!
