panicking. I have the arms as you described, forward part bent more. There is one picture on twinsaabs that agrees with this too. I had the brackets the correct way up; actually it is not possible to bolt them on upside down - I checked that before I installed them just to see. One thing I was doing wrong was to torque the spring seat in the fully unloaded position - that made the spring curve significantly under full compression. After I re-read Bentley I saw that it should be tightened in the "weight on the wheels" position, which is what I did. Seems to be ok now, although the shock does limit droop; suprised about that... really squishes the upper shock bushing. At any rate, thanks very much for checking out you control arms - I was in quite a state!
