It still might be pulling back your spark timing. I think the EZK can pull back the timing 1 or 2 times before flashing the CEL. The flashing CEL is when it's pulled it back & the knocking isn't going away. Or a non-working sensor.
Got aftermarket plug wires? I guess the Bougicords are shielded better than others, & the KS picks up RFI as knocking.
Take the KS off the block, clean up the mounting pad. I believe it's also sensitive to orientation & bolting torque. I remember the plug pointing roughly towards the throttle body. Maybe Townshend has the torque, I don't have that car anymore...
