Get an aftermarket parallel flow condenser and fab the lines required. I have done this twice. It works great! It'll freeze your left hand and cool the interior nicely. The condenser I used was available over here in the US. It is a MaxAir 52612-02437C. It is listed as a 14"x20". In addition to this you will need to fab up a couple of brackets, have a tubing bender and a #6 piece of Al tubing 8" long and a #8 Al tubing 24" long. Both of these have male o-ring fittings on one end and female on the other and connect the existing tubes to the new condenser. The #8 tube is creatively bent in a lasy 'S'. Once these are procured and you make up the bracklets, you need a new dryer and flush out the hoses and compressor while off the car. It is a good idea to flush the evap as well. Put it all back together with new o-rings, pull a good 30" Hg vacuum and recharge with R134a. Use 80% of the amount required of R12. It is about 2.5 cans IIRC. Keep an eye on pressures and check to see that you are not exceeding 200psi on the high side at 2krpm. I was able to cool it with 175psi at 2krpm. I cannot wait to do this to my new '91 SPG. This is MUCH better than using the old R12 condenser and sweating in traffic!
