the compressors look to be too close to each other on the wheel side, causing the engine side to bulge. I can feel that the spring is still pressing against the body on top towards the engine side due to this bulge.
Can I remove the compressor on the shock side while the other compressor is still attached? I would like to move the shock side one towards the engine more so that the spring will compress evenly.

Let me know how to get this spring out. I cannot believe the amount of junk I have to go through just because I needed to replace the ball joint! Talk about opening up a can of worms...
