finally.. ok.. this was really easy so I wanted to share with everyone!
manifold and turbo are together.. I took the bracket off the turbo part.
took the turbo return oil line with a new "o" ring and pushed it into the engine hole. twisting just a little and alot of pressure.. after maybe 10 seconds the "o" ring seats well and your set! ("o" ring on the oil return line first). then I moved the line to the right side downward to get it out of the way.
new copper gaskets on the manifold studs.. and slipped the manifold with turbo onto the studs.. then put a copper lock nut just on the end of a couple of studs to hold it in place and from falling off!
don;t put any sleeves on yet as it will not give you any play in moving around.
next.. get under the car and push the turbo oil line upwardto meet the housing on the turbo. slip the gasket inbetween and thread one bolt in.. then make sure the gasket is even and sneak the other top bolt in..
tighten them up..
then.. put the turbo manifold bracket on.. put the top two bolts in and tighten them up..
then have someone push or lift up slightly on the manifold and you slip the bolts in the bottom on the bracket..
now tighten up all manifold nuts on the studs.. and
then do exhaust downpipe..
done!! horayy
man, I cursed so much last night!! but It's done and I'm a happy camper now!
thanks for your help everyone!
