I agree on all points of american driving. My father spent time in England and Germany and my step father spent time in England and most of Europe. I myself have spent time there as well. When I was a boy there was an Austin Healy and a Porsche 356 as well as a couple MBz and a Citroen and a Peugeot among others. I was raised with european manual shift cars. big american cars owned by the rest of the family back in NYC and new England always seemed foreign to me.
My next door neighbor is from England and he loves the 900S that I recently bought. He had the sedan model year 1989 while back in england in the early 1990s. He's been out here in Los Angeles for three or four years and he still has a Volvo 850R t5 sitting in storage in London. I am talking with him about shipping it out here. The shipping is cheap its the swapping and modifying to meet CA emmisions that may cost more.
My 900S seems to settle back down on the RPMs around 75 but it just wants to go so I usually fly past 75 and hit 85 before I know whats happening. Great all around driver for Los ANgeles.
