On the LH 2.2 and LH 2.4 cars, it's just a pair of switches that indicates throttle position to the fuel injection computer (ECU). One switch indicates fully-closed throttle and the other indicates 85% (or is it 90%) open throttle.
The APC doesn't get any input from the TPS. The APC just responds to engine RPM, knock, and intake manifold pressure and controls boost from there.
