Funny, I did it to my 90 900TC a while ago. Seem to remember some cautions about setting base boost. After I did that, it rocked. I hit mid red with hightest or additives to bump the octain to control knock. I just followed the instructions, wired in a new resister or two and turned the pots as it said. its been at lease 3 years and it still works great. dont give up.
