Just take another look at the picture of your car, and ask yourself "What could I buy for 2K total that would be better?" Think dollars-per-mile when considering moving up/down or sideways. It seems to me, few people factor in the true costs of depreciation/cost of borrowing when thinking of moving on to a newer model car. If you are considering used, then you are just shifting your current problems to a car that you have no history on.
Nice looking 900, I bet you get a positive comment about it once a week or so, I'd keep it.
