Sounds like you need a little top down time. I too considered the idea of selling my '93 last spring to buy a '98 NG900 with 28K that a local dealer had. When the one person who I mentioned this too showed up, check book in hand, wanting to buy my car I came to my senses-he was just too eager. It sounds like a few repairs have ganged up on you, but you don't have to do it all at once--the car will soldier on for a long time with much of it. Perhaps a little edifying anecdote is in order. Last summer my wife and I had dinner at Bilmars on the beach. We had just gotten in the car and were in the process of putting the top down when two couples in a brand new BMW 6 series convertible came cruising through the lot looking for a spot. When they spotted us they all had big smiles and were giving us the thumbs up. They were driving an $80K car and yet they were stoked about OUR humble little car. What other car can you buy for ANY price that will get that kind of reaction? There is no other car in the world that is quite like a C900 Convertible-and they aren't making any more of them--ever. Don't give up the ship yet.
