Outer Tie-rod end removal woes

Trying to get the front left outer tie-rod end off my 1990 900 to replace it - it's very worn.
Got the front right one off with some struggle, but the front left, with the direction that the jam nut and tie rod need to be turned is turning out to be a real pain! They are badly rusted, thanks to the New England salt. I've been soaking it with PB Superblaster. I don't have a lift so access is limited.
Insights, tricks and experiences that worked would be very welcome at this stage!
Thanks in advance,
Todd inMA
