$1600 1986 SPG w/160k for in Jan 1998 - rough interior but no rust
$1200 for a rebuilt trans installed and a rebuilt rack - 1999
$ 0 Free interior from a $75 parts car that I got out way more than $75
$ 150 turbo rebuild
$ 25 real SPG springs from the yard
$ 100 1990 rear axle and front hubs
$ 100 Paragon SS lines
$ 360 Rebuilt 9000 calipers and rebuilt rear calipers
$ 75 1989 non abs brake booster and res
$ 400 Bilstein HD's
$ 45 Cibie H'4 from ebay
$ 200 Complete rotor and pads for all 4 corners
$ 450 Tires and alignment
$ 60 4 Round SPG wheels from the yard (gave up some bent cores)
$ 10 in gray paint and they almost match the body.
$ 450 Complete exhaust from turbo to tip
$ 100 To do headgasket, timing chain cover and misc gaskets
$ 280 Every hose and AL radiator
$ 350 complete front end rebuilt including 10 ton press
$ 80 every suspension bushing except spring mount and 4 in the rear
$ 200 tune ups and belts (more than once)

that's almost 6k
by 6 years = $1000 per year + $100 for emissions/plate
by 12 months = $92 + $60 for full coverage insurance
$152 a month

Something like that anyway - and I'm getting 27+ in mixed driving
32mpg in 2 tanks up to New England last fall.

I think I'll get another one so I can swap out to work on them!!
